Last weekend my Router finally bit the dust. Unfortunately when I only had one more piece to finish on Lucas bed. I cant complain that router did all of the cabinets in my house plus a great many more projects. Anyway in looking for a new router I found this interesting sight for things to look for in a Router and what type is best for what you want to do. Routers Oh Yeah, work has been going really good, I will get some pics up soon of all the things that has kept me busy over the last 4 months...

The last house that I worked on before starting my own business. I was involved in all of the framing, other than having help lifting walls and setting trusses I did most of it by myself. Installed all of the siding, soffit and windows. Installed all of the interior doors, baseboard and trimmed out all of the windows. Helped hang all of the cabinets and installed all of the vanities. Worked really close with this home owner on his house which is what gave me the confidence to want to start my own business.

I didn't start my own business to get rich, I started my own business because I love building houses and I wanted control over what I love! The same goes for building decks, room additions, finishing basements etc.

Built this deck a few years back. Replaced the window with a door to go out onto the deck. We also put up the privacy fence in the background.

We also put in the concrete pad that supports the steps, later he would add a jacuzzi in the corner by the steps and deck. Custom made all of the tops on the post and router all of the handrails. Would of loved to of put a roof over the top of this deck, that would of been sweet!
